Raring2go! works with businesses who need to reach local families. We provide an affordable, effective, targeted and fun way to communicate messages directly to parents and carers of children (0–12 years). Raring2go! has a strong presence all across the UK, including parts of Scotland, with 52 franchisees distributing 700,000 copies of the magazine each quarter. We are currently print 32,500 copies of Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire and 15,000 copies of the Glasgow issue. Where does it go? As a free, A5, glossy, quarterly magazine, Raring2go! goes home in primary-school book bags. It’s also available in other family-friendly locations, like libraries, leisure centres and shops. What about online? Our localised website and social media platforms support and enhance the magazine, giving us a platform for daily interaction with local families. Why is Raring2go! different from other family magazines? We believe in strong editorial content to ensure our readers value Raring2go!, read it and hold on to it for the 12 weeks it’s ‘live’. Parents refer to our magazine – especially the comprehensive diary section – again and again; many even tell us it’s their ‘bible’. All our editorial content is written with parents in mind by our in-house team (who are all parents themselves), from a local angle and with local comment and information. Who am I? I’ve been running the Aberdeen City and Shire edition of Raring2go! for nearly 10 years, leading a team of experienced publishing professionals who are all parents. Each issue has a circulation of nearly 33,000 copies, giving us a readership of well over 100,000, across the North-East. Why are we getting in touch?
